Anthony Kingsley Travel – Travel for the incurably curious
If you feel that you want a little more from your travel than ordinary, it is worth your while speaking to a travel agent or consultant to see what they can offer you that is not readily available online or through one of the usual booking portals.
I am a travel consultant who specialises in
- Experiential travel, such as wine tasting, tea and tiger tours, hiking and biking
- Sustainable travel, ensuring that your travel leaves as little impact on the destination but as great as impression on you as possible
- Wellness Travel, to promote your mental and phyical health
Travel can broaden the mind if we are prepared to allow our minds to be opened, if we allow our imaginations to roam, to be incurably curious.
Where do you want to go next? What do you want to do, to see, to taste and to feel? Come and talk to me and see what I can do for you.
Anthony Kingsley Travel is registered with Protected Trust Services under registration number 6365.
This means that the money you pay for your travel is paid into an independent trust account, and then paid to the supplier of each component of your trip.
Payments are protected by an insurance policy to cover against supplier failure.
This means that you can be absolutely confident that your money is safe and that your holiday is completely protected.
This is your holiday so I rarely have generic special offers aimed at everyone. I plan your holiday around you and just you. I can of course book with all of the traditional, big name suppliers, such as Tui, Easy Jet and Jet 2, and the big name tour operators such as Abercrombie & Kent and Kuoni. But where an independent travel agent can really add value is with our little black book of contacts which we can use to provide experiences that others can’t with a value for money that bigger organisations cannot match.
If you think it’s time that your holiday offered you a little more than usual, please give me call or reach out via my contact form, and let’s start a conversation.
By hook or by crook, I hope you find yourself possessed of money enough to travel and to idle, to contemplate the future or the past of the world, to dream over books and loiter at street corners and let the line of thought dip deep into the stream.
These thoughts were written by Virginia Woolf, a writer I find hard to read, but one who sums up my thoughts on travel so well
So let us let the lines of thought dip deep into the stream

The Philippines
The 7,200 islands of the Philippines offers some of the best islands, the best beaches, the best diving, coupled with a history and culture that blends indigenous, Colonial Spanish and American influences. Its food is unique and interesting. And most of all its people will give you the warmest of welcomes.
India
India is the land of experiences, an engagement with your senses, from the aroma and taste of its spices, the sense of awe at its temples, palaces and its forts, the sights and sounds of its jungles, the softness and intricacies of its textiles.
And then there is tea.
Italy
Italy is the definition of style and elegant living, la dolce vita. It is a land of history, the Etruscans before the Romans, the Renaissance after the Romans, and of course the Second World War.
It is a land of opera and wine, truffles and cheeses, of landcapes and cities, stretching from the South Tyrol to Sicily
